Formed on the Santa Barbara County coast, Iration is an alt reggae group of talented musicians. Raised in Hawaii, these legends have cooked up their own brand of reggae, rock, and pop to create original and easygoing numbers. The band is comprised of Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Adam Taylor (Bass), Joseph Dickens (Drums), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), Micah Brown (Guitar/Vocals), and Drake Peterson (Trumpet, Keys). For almost two decades, Iration has been touring the country. Over the course of their successful career, they’ve graced the stages at world-class festivals like Lollapalooza, Sunfest, Hangout, Bottlerock and Outside Lands. Expect to sing your heart out to huge hits, including “Turn Around,” “Reelin,” “Automatic,” and “Summer Nights” from the six-piece. These legends may even treat you to some covers, like Blink 182’s “What’s My Age Again.”
Meanwhile, Pepper is a group of dub-rock icons who come from Kona Town in Hawaii. They’re the brains behind the effortlessly smooth “The Invite” (yano the epic track with the George Michael “Faith” introduction). Just last year, they released a whole twenty-five minutes of brand new music as well as a few remixes!! From November last year to this January, the group’s new album ‘Makai’ grabbed over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone. “Inside these seven tracks live a multitude of depth and styles to indulge in, all hard to get out of your head once you’ve let ‘em in,” says Daily Reggae News. The album kick starts with the fun, rapid and top streaming song, “Get Me Ready”, before leaning into the more chill, acoustic-focused herb ballad a.k.a “Sweet Leef”.
Pepper and Iration are pulling out all the stops for this hotly awaited gig. Joining them at the St Augustine Amphitheatre are special guests DENM and Artikal Sound System. DENM pens lyrics about youth culture and life experiences, and sings them with heart and hazy daze optimism. Meanwhile, Artikal Sound System are South Florida natives who craft awesome reggae jams. The group is composed of guitarist Chris Montague, bassist Fabian Acuña, as well as the jazz-influenced singer, Logan Rex.
