Joined by two British 80s synthpop sensations, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark & Howard Jones, the Barenaked Ladies lads sure know how to throw a party! Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian alternative rock band, who formed in Scarborough, Ontario in 1988. Originally a duo, the group has seen various line-up changes over the years, and currently consists of Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Ed Robertson, and Tyler Stewart. Acquiring a large underground following in their home country, the band's success was instant with their self-titled 1990 cassette became the first independent release ever to be certified gold in Canada. However, it took a decade from their first venture as a band for them to achieve mainstream success in the US. Their break came with the release of their fourth studio album, Stunt, which entered the US charts at #3 and sold over 4 million units by the end of its chart run. The group has released fourteen studio albums, sellig over 15 million records including albums and singles.
