ABOUT DISPATCH
Roots rock purveyors Dispatch has achieved incredible success as a indie rock outfit. Since the release of their debut album Silent Steepers, Dispatch had always published their work under their own imprint Bomber. The band had consistently traveled and performed across the country, gaining quite a following. Their tightness, artistry, and brilliance on stage were too remarkable to be ignored. Soon they achieved a brilliant success akin to or even more than an outfit who was receiving label support. Since their sophomore album, Bang Bang, the band had collaborated with major label Universal Music to distribute their work.
The singer and frontman of the now defunct John Butler Trio, Butler goes solo on this highly awaited trek but he’s bringing a fantastic back up band to help bring his phenomenal hits to life. Butler and his band will deliver roots rock from his solo works but also cover a bunch of hits from the John Butler Trio. A force in the Australian roots rock scene, Butler released his latest album, Still Searching in November of last year.
