For over three decades, Widespread Panic has been committed to delivering their best to a dedicated fan base. Since their formation in 1986, they've made their mark with an impressive list of achievements. The band boasts 12 studio albums, including the notable "Street Dogs," and a whopping 43 live albums, selling over 3 million copies. Renowned as one of the world's most successful touring acts, Widespread Panic has set attendance records at major venues across the nation.
Their influence extends to iconic locations like the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, where they've notched an incredible 48 sold-out shows. Philips Arena in Atlanta proudly displays a banner commemorating 18 sellouts, and records have been set at other venues such as Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Oak Mountain Amphitheater near Birmingham, AL, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, where Panic has headlined eight times.
Widespread Panic has taken center stage at major U.S. festivals, including multiple appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and many more. In 2011, the State of Georgia's Senate and House of Representatives recognized their 25th anniversary, passing resolutions to honor the band for their contributions to music, service, charity, and enduring success. This milestone was complemented by their induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
Widespread Panic's 2024 tour schedule is slowly but steadily filling up. They're beginning with a trio of gigs in St. Louis, MO from January 18th-20th. The band will visit Chicago the following month for a three-night stint at The Chicago Theatre from February 15th to February 17th. The band will travel to Florida in March, followed by Mexico the following month. Last on the band's current tour schedule, Widespread Panic will celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with a special two-night run in Memphis, TN, with Margo Price and Paul Cauthen on the road.
