Starting out more as an alternative and soul band, they have developed beautifully over the past two decades into a multi-genre force to be reckoned with; if you’ve ever wanted a little bit of everything, with a blend of genres including but not limited to pop, jazz, and folk – this is the band for you.
With the release of their latest album Good Together (released in June 2024), Lake Street Dive shows off their willingness to experiment with new elements in their music while not deviating too far away from their established sound. Expect yourselves to be floored not just by the vocals (which are just as soulful and powerful as ever), but the inventive instrumentation which incorporates 70s and 80s music styles in some of their tracks.
