“The shattered glass soul in the voice of lead singer and guitarist John Bell, John Hermann’s whirling keyboard notes, guitarist Jimmy Herring’s singular melding of styles all the way from John McLaughlin to George Harrison to Jerry Garcia, Dave School’s massive but tuneful bass thumping, percussionist Sunny Ortiz’s dashes of Latin spice, and the intense drive of drummer Duane Trucks, all conspire to form an entirely unique musical mélange” (Making a Scene)

Get ready to rock out as Widespread Panic have recently announced that they will be returning to the stage. The highly anticipated run of shows are set to start on Valentine’s Day for a three night bash at the Hard Rock Live at Estess Arena from February 14-16, 2025. Along the way, Widespread Panic will make a major stop at the St Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturday 22nd March 2025.

The band’s triumphant return to the stage arrives after new tunes, as they grease the wheels for debuts. Last year (2024), the Georgia outfit started their summer by confirming their freshest studio album (and the first in nine years!!), Snake Oil King. The awesome record features six songs, including Little by Little, Tackle Box Hero, Cosmic, Confidante, We Walk Each Other Home, Life as a Tree, and Small Town, and was met with acclaim.

Not long after, the six piece followed the success of Snake Oil King up with their epic Red Rock run. The three night rager was such a hit that it elevated their venue status to a whopping 72 consecutive sold-out shows in Morrison, Colorado. Fast forward to fall, and Widespread Panic dropped Hailbound Queen. The vinyl landed on November 8, and boasts fan favorites, including the Bloodkin original and concert hit, “Trashy,” “Halloween Face,” and new additions to their expanding catalog, like “King Baby,” “Blue Carousel,” as well as a cover of Warren Zevon’s “Keep Me In Your Heart.”

Don’t miss out on experiencing Widespread Panic’s triumphant return to the stage! Mark your calendars, and book your tickets now to secure your places!
